Both numbers, in full, before you give me anything.

No card to try it. No trial countdown. No “contact us for pricing”. If you never pay me, you keep a working inventory for 250 items and you can export all of it whenever you like.

The price promise

What I will and won't do about price increases.

Every complaint I read about tools in this category comes back to the same thing: the price moved, and the notice was short or buried. So here is the commitment, written down before you’ve paid me anything, in the same plain English I’d want to read.

  1. If you subscribe in the first year, your price is locked for as long as you keep the subscription running.

Not locked for 12 months. Locked. If the list price for new customers goes to $129, you stay at $79. The lock ends only if you cancel and come back later, at which point you'd join at whatever the price is then.

  2. Any increase for anyone gets 90 days' notice by email.

Not 30. And the email will say the old price, the new price, and the date — in the subject line, not in a linked PDF.

  3. The free tier's 250 items will not be reduced.

Shrinking a free tier to push people onto a paid one is the exact move that made me build this. It isn't going to be the move I make.

  4. Export stays free on every plan, forever, including free.

This is the one that makes all the others enforceable. If I ever break a promise on this page, you can take everything you have and leave the same day.

What would end the lock: nothing I can think of short of the product shutting down, in which case you get notice and your data rather than a price rise. If Apple or Google change their cut, that comes out of my margin, not your renewal.

At the limit

What happens if you go over 250.

Nothing is deleted, nothing is hidden, and nothing goes read-only. You can still open every item, edit it, adjust quantities, count stock, and export the lot. You just can’t add new items until you’re back under 250 or on Pro.

An import that would take you past the cap still completes in full. It will never truncate your file at row 250 and quietly drop the rest — that would be a data-loss bug wearing a business model as a disguise.

The price is on the page. The rest is just building it.

One email when it launches, plus a build log every other Tuesday that you can ignore. Unsubscribe in one click. I don’t sell or share your address. What I store.
